This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-achieving team of Long-Term Care Sales Specialists.
• Identify, interview, and recruit top sales talent.
• Foster a customer-focused culture through strong relationships with key clients.
• Inspire and motivate the team toward shared goals and business objectives.
• Organize and conduct sales meetings and performance evaluations.
• Represent Acadia’s mission, values, and standards both internally and externally.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct regular field visits, offering practical coaching on customer engagement, territory management, and account execution.
• Evaluate sales behaviors, celebrate high performance, and identify areas for development.
• Address personnel and performance-related issues.
• Create and implement individualized development plans.
• Set performance expectations and hold the team accountable for achieving results.
• Drive business planning, execution, and review processes.
• Develop, manage, and comply with budgetary constraints.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret business performance metrics, making necessary adjustments.
• Engage in cross-functional and corporate initiatives.
• Formulate and implement regional strategic business plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist with new-hire onboarding and continuous skill development in partnership with Commercial Effectiveness and Training teams.
• Provide frontline insights to the Commercial Brand team to support compliance and organizational goals focused on patient needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• For LTC Sales Manager: At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales, with a minimum of 2 years in sales management.
• For Sr. LTC Sales Manager: A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales, including at least 5 years in a sales management capacity.
• Strong skills in field leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities, capable of delivering clear verbal and written assessments.
• Proven capability to build, nurture, and enhance relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the medical community.
• Strategic thinking skills with the foresight to identify future business opportunities and evolving customer requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills, initiative, and self-motivation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative teams, prioritize tasks effectively, and allocate resources to meet business goals.
• High standards of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to function effectively in a highly regulated environment while ensuring confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including frequent overnight stays and occasional after-hours travel, depending on territory geography and business needs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Must live within the assigned region or an adjacent area and be near a major airport to accommodate extensive travel requirements.
• Experience in neuroscience is preferred; prior Long-Term Care experience is strongly desired.
