This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee a designated geographic territory and promote the successful growth of Neurocrine products.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with physicians and other clients for targeted accounts.
• Advocate for Neurocrine brands and their approved indications.
• Inform physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about product advantages.
• Facilitate product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual communications.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific opportunities and obstacles to product success.
• Oversee promotional resources and budget management.
• Establish and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday with the flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• BS/BA degree in science or a related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.
• 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly preferred.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly desired.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic medications is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of related experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and related business concepts.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscape.
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving successful product launches in complex environments.
• Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of business systems.
• Expertise in sales platforms and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, and Veeva.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong aptitude for sales and account management.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.

• Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; frequent driving is a requirement of the position.
