This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide program management assistance for Littoral Strike and Warfare initiatives.
• Conduct organizational studies and systems engineering evaluations to create Integrated Master Schedules and requirements.
• Update and maintain engineering calendars as well as Division Project Office schedules.
• Monitor and track program requirements, including Integrated Product Support planning, timelines, and data requests.
• Execute analyses, review data, and formulate recommendations for sponsors and fleet representatives.
• Assist in the creation of presentations, timelines, white papers, strategies, execution plans, and program evaluations.
• Organize, coordinate, and engage in meetings and conferences; gather and share metric data.
• Provide engineering assistance for hardware and software configuration control, which includes change requests and defect reports.
• Take part in design reviews, documentation updates, software configuration management, peer reviews, and Local Configuration Control Board meetings.
• Conduct and support both desktop and physical configuration audits.
• Analyze and monitor engineering inputs and metrics related to performance, resource planning, Integrated Master Schedule updates, program briefings, and technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Business, Systems Management, or similar) and 3 years of experience, or 6+ years of directly related experience in place of a degree.
• Familiarity with US Navy supply, configuration management, provisioning, and the interrelationships among these disciplines.
• Fundamental understanding of program management principles, timelines, and requirements tracking.
• Capability to review and synthesize technical information to facilitate reporting and recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable working with data-driven tools.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, or currently possess one.
• Active security clearance and/or capability to acquire and uphold a US Government Security Clearance.
• Eligibility for government security clearance, including background investigation.
• Preferred: 8+ years of experience supporting DoD, Navy, or engineering programs.
• Preferred: Experience with LCS, GWS, TWCS, Harpoon, or DDG 1000 programs.
• Preferred: Knowledge of configuration management processes or Local Configuration Control Boards.
• Preferred: Background in systems engineering, logistics, or integrated product support.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, management, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in preparing schedules, white papers, technical briefs, or program reports.
