Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee both inbound and outbound logistical functions, which encompass inventory supervision, warehousing, and transportation.

• Guarantee an adequate supply of merchandise and products.

• Manage the commercial implications of receiving, locating, dispatching, sourcing, purchasing, and optimizing inventory levels.

• Implement an inventory control system that meets organizational needs by efficiently transporting raw materials, component parts, and finished goods.

• Ensure that pickups and deliveries align with service-level objectives.

• Assign drivers and common carriers to the correct pickup and delivery sites.

• Reconcile daily data from third-party carriers with operational plans.

• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.

• Handle a high volume of incoming calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in place of the high school diploma or GED.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or a related field (Required).

• No licensure or certification needed.

• Knowledge in transportation management.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in customer service.

• Capable of task management.

• Effective communication skills.

• Experience in reporting.

• Proficient in records management.

• Skilled in documentation.
