Localization Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee localization initiatives for international clients, encompassing applications, games, websites, and software

• Collaborate with translators and editors from various regions around the globe

• Engage with clients across multiple time zones

• Track deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints

• Acquire and utilize localization tools, such as CAT tools, TMS, and AI-driven workflows

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the AI-supported localization process

⛳️ Requirements

• Some background in translation or game localization

• Proficiency in English

• Knowledge of a second foreign language

• Experience working or studying internationally

• Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines

• Competence in using spreadsheets, including Excel or Google Sheets

• A basic technical background, such as familiarity with scripting, CAT tools, or TMS

• Interest in or experience with AI tools and LLMs

• Aspiration to develop into a professional Localization Project Manager within 6 to 12 months

• Early-career experience as a freelance translator, linguist, or language tutor with a focus on technical subjects
