This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local authorities, public works departments, utility companies, community leaders, chambers of commerce, economic development councils, and community organizations.
• Facilitate network growth by managing permitting processes, right-of-way issues, construction coordination, and community concerns.
• Act as a point of contact across various jurisdictions, offering local insights to internal teams.
• Assist local leadership in addressing right-of-way, permitting, pole attachment/joint use, and related matters.
• Monitor field issues, inquiries, and performance related to complaint resolution.
• Engage with mayors, city council members, county commissioners, administrators, and staff to convey Ziply Fiber’s vision and plans while garnering support for initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for Network Operations regarding local government matters and constituent inquiries.
• Collaborate with residents and businesses to address construction-related challenges and develop mutually beneficial solutions.
• Support active construction areas by liaising with cities, counties, and community stakeholders.
• Lead and oversee projects and tasks while representing Ziply Fiber.
• Carry out additional duties necessary to support the business and its evolving structure.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in a customer support-focused environment.
• Proven experience collaborating directly with local governments, public works departments, utilities, and/or agencies involved in right-of-way, permitting, construction oversight, or municipal coordination.
• Experience navigating governmental processes, municipal codes, public works standards, and utility coordination requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Background in public policy and compliance implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Capability to lead and manage projects and tasks while effectively representing Ziply Fiber.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Relevant training or experience may be accepted in lieu of a preferred bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, partnership, collaboration, verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, organization, and customer service.
• Extensive network of relationships within state and local government.
• Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
