Loan Processing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Examine loan applications along with supporting documents for thoroughness and precision.

• Validate customer details in line with established protocols.

• Collaborate with underwriting, customer service, and funding departments.

• Detect missing or inconsistent data and request necessary documentation.

• Keep precise electronic loan files and records.

• Track applications throughout the processing workflow.

• Interact professionally with customers regarding documentation and the status of their applications.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.

• Achieve set accuracy, productivity, and service benchmarks.

• Assist the lending operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• Preferred 1–3 years of experience in loan processing, banking, financial services, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.

• Capable of managing confidential financial information.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Preferred experience in consumer lending.

• Familiarity with loan origination or customer management systems is a plus.

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

• Knowledge of lending documentation and compliance processes is advantageous.

• Reliable internet connection is necessary.

• An appropriate home workspace is required.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive customer data.
