Loan Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire loan operations lifecycle, which includes creating orders, setting up payment links, generating and tracking documents, confirming deliveries, and overseeing acceptance sign-offs.

• Collaborate with Risk and Capital Markets to determine deal requirements.

• Collect, validate, and organize information and documents from clients and GTM teams.

• Actively follow up on outstanding documents, signatures, and delivery confirmations.

• Keep clients and sales teams informed and ensure they are not hindered throughout the process.

• Identify persistent process challenges and product deficiencies, diagnose issues, and escalate suggested solutions.

• Maintain and enhance operational playbooks and documentation.

• Work alongside Product to map out manual workflows and prioritize automation initiatives.

• Report on time-to-fund, stage conversion rates, and document turnaround times.

• Highlight operational obstacles early by leveraging supporting data.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in loan operations, deal operations, order management, or fintech operations.

• Proven experience in transferring information and documents between various internal teams and external clients.

• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify missing fields, unsigned pages, and date discrepancies.

• Clear and direct written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to monitor operations metrics, recognize funnel blockers, and take appropriate action.

• Familiarity with using automation or AI tools in operational workflows, or a strong willingness to utilize them.

• Exposure to functions within Risk, Legal, or Capital Markets.

• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM-integrated operational workflow.

• Background in lending, leasing, or equipment financing.
