Loan Officer Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist mortgage loan officers in their daily activities to enhance loan production levels.

• Collaborate directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and timely loan closings.

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications, documentation, disclosure packages, and loan files.

• Prepare rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and provide them to borrowers.

• Identify any deficiencies, clarify or amend information, and gather additional details as needed.

• Offer clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors.

• Manage a pipeline that includes conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans.

• Deliver appraisals or property valuations and confirm receipt.

• Monitor outstanding items and follow up with customers for required documentation.

• Coordinate timely loan closings with title companies and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a mortgage-related role, including customer interaction.

• Previous experience in sales support is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

• Strong prioritization and time management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Primarily operate within Pacific Time zone working hours.

• Ability to work with conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
