This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Evaluate legal responses related to Spanish litigation, disputes, and contentious issues.

• Assess the precision and thoroughness of legal reasoning.

• Identify erroneous legal principles, unsupported conclusions, and significant omissions.

• Review the application of both Spanish procedural and substantive law.

• Compare the outputs generated by two legal research systems side by side.

• Evaluate comparative accuracy, relevance, completeness, and the quality of reasoning.

• Determine which response more effectively addresses the core legal question.

• Differentiate between substantive legal deficiencies and minor drafting discrepancies.

• Assess Spanish court procedures, litigation processes, jurisdictional factors, remedies, and litigation strategies.

• Evaluate the correct application of legal authorities and principles.

• Review the logical flow from the legal issue to the conclusion.

• Identify unsupported assumptions or gaps in the analysis.

• Score each response according to a provided standardized rubric.

• Apply evaluation criteria consistently across various assignments.

• Document significant errors and strengths clearly.

• Provide concise written justifications for evaluation decisions.

• Complete reviews independently and within agreed timelines.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDA requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm; 3+ years is preferred.

• Professional experience concentrated on litigation, disputes, or contentious practices.

• Primarily law-firm experience is mandatory.

• Candidates currently working in-house may qualify if they transitioned in-house within the last 2 years after relevant law-firm experience.

• Must be qualified to practice in Spain as a colegiado/a.

• Strong understanding of Spanish litigation and procedural law.

• Ability to evaluate complex legal reasoning accurately and efficiently.

• Native or fluent in Spanish.

• Strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to legal detail.

• Comfortable working independently with structured evaluation criteria.

• Work must be performed without utilizing any confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third parties.

• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this engagement.
