This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Precisely enter case information into an electronic calendaring system.
• Oversee the firm’s master calendar.
• Track updates and modifications to court rules and procedures.
• Calculate, input, and format case events and deadlines.
• Inform attorneys of upcoming dates pertinent to firm cases.
• Strategically organize and manage workload within set timeframes.
• Perform research to enhance strategic calendaring.
• Examine incoming documents for deadline tracking.
• Address inquiries from the case team regarding scheduled events, deadlines, and regulations.
• Generate reports to support attorneys and paralegals.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience with calendaring software, ideally Compulaw.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local court regulations.
• Proficiency in the practices of USDC, state courts, and alternative dispute resolution agencies regarding pleadings and other actions.
• Attention to detail and precision in calculating deadlines based on court rules or attorney directives.
