This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Manage and address high-profile cases involving serious injuries, intricate coverage issues, and legal inquiries or disputes.
• Formulate strategies to achieve satisfactory outcomes for cases.
• Review, act upon reports/forms, and respond to various inquiries.
• Seek legal opinions for early resolutions and communicate findings to the relevant parties.
• Address decisions, agreements, and/or court orders accordingly.
• Develop action plans, assess the need for examinations, and obtain client authorization.
• Identify cases suitable for settlements/redemptions.
• Collect and document supplementary information while coordinating with designated clients.
• Request legal or private investigations as necessary.
• Delegate tasks to local counsel and oversee their performance.
• Respond to requests from plaintiff's counsel, unions, employees, or clients.
• Identify challenges and devise defense strategies.
• Establish or modify accrued liabilities and authorize administrative expenses.
• Recognize subrogation opportunities and oversee the process.
• Participate in mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as required.
• Collaborate with partners to facilitate early return-to-work initiatives.
• Contribute to the organization's quality programs.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of five (5) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverages, principles, and laws.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.
• Must secure and maintain state adjusting licenses required for the role.
• Technically adept and knowledgeable about legal pleadings and discovery processes.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively.
• Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and interpretive abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.

• Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to meet or surpass performance competencies.
• Proficient in computer keyboarding.
