This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +1 more country.
• Lead the daily oversight of the group’s cash and liquidity status across various entities and currencies.
• Supervise the creation of cash flow forecasts for short, medium, and long-term periods, ensuring their precision.
• Develop and sustain liquidity risk metrics, limits, and scenarios for stress testing.
• Implement and track liquidity contingency funding strategies.
• Design and execute funding strategies that align with business growth and capital requirements.
• Manage credit facilities, intercompany loans, and external funding arrangements effectively.
• Assess the cost of capital and propose the optimal mix of funding sources.
• Collaborate with Finance and Risk teams on balance sheet and capital structure planning.
• Ensure adherence to internal treasury policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory liquidity standards, including Basel III LCR/NSFR where applicable.
• Identify potential liquidity and funding risks, escalating them to senior management as necessary.
• Assist with audits, reviews, and regulatory submissions.
• Generate liquidity and funding reports, KPIs, and dashboards for senior management.
• Provide analysis and insights for reporting to the Board and ALCO.
• Enhance treasury systems and automate processes for cash and liquidity management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in treasury, liquidity, or cash management roles (experience in banking, payments, or the fintech/crypto sector is a plus).
• Strong understanding of liquidity risk metrics, cash forecasting, and banking operations.
• Proficient in treasury systems, ERP software, and Excel (including advanced formulas and pivot tables).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to funds safeguarding and VASP compliance is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
