Linux Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Administer, configure, and optimize Linux systems.

• Oversee updates, security patches, and enhancements to the environment.

• Monitor system performance regularly.

• Ensure continuous server availability.

• Implement automation solutions utilizing Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.

• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to systems and networks.

• Maintain system security, especially through firewalls and security audits.

• Document procedures and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Engage in integration and migration projects.

• Contribute to Squad initiatives through internal projects, workshops, conferences, business development, recruitment, and expert articles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expected experience: 3 to 5 years.

• Proven experience in administering, configuring, and optimizing Linux systems (Red Hat, Debian, etc.).

• Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, or comparable automation tools.

• Competence in managing updates, security patches, and environmental enhancements.

• Proficient in performance monitoring and ensuring server uptime.

• Capable of diagnosing and resolving both system and network incidents.

• Understanding of system security measures, particularly firewalls and security audits.

• Ability to document processes and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Proficiency in French is implicitly required, as it is the primary language of the position.
