Life Sciences Research Expert – Scientific Reasoning, AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create intricate life-sciences reasoning challenges for AI assessment

• Develop tasks rooted in realistic experiments, biological datasets, figures, sequences, structures, and scientific evidence

• Formulate questions that have clear and objectively justifiable answers

• Produce comprehensive expert reference answers that elucidate the necessary scientific reasoning

• Ensure tasks assess interpretation and synthesis rather than mere factual recall

• Validate biological assertions, calculations, assumptions, and conclusions

• Recognize ambiguity, alternative valid interpretations, and inadequately defined questions

• Construct tasks that effectively distinguish advanced AI models based on their scientific reasoning capabilities

• Integrate reviewer feedback while upholding high standards of quality and efficiency

• Clearly document tasks in a reproducible manner whenever applicable

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced research background in the Life Sciences

• In-depth expertise in at least one biological field

• Strong capability to interpret scientific experiments, data, and research results

• Profound understanding of experimental design and scientific reasoning
