This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Convert clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English to Spanish (LatAm)
• Conduct Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on machine-translated safety materials
• Edit translated and post-edited text for precision, tone, and uniformity
• Adhere to strict, non-negotiable turnaround times for time-sensitive documents
• Operate within the client's CAT tool environment utilizing XTM/Phrase
• Employ Track Changes in Microsoft Word following project-specific guidelines
• Translate clinical research materials such as protocols, synopses, Investigator’s Brochure (IB), Informed Consent Forms (ICF), Patient Information Sheets, and Patient Diaries
• Translate regulatory documents including Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC), Patient Information Leaflets (PIL), Labels, and CTD Modules
• Translate pharmacovigilance documents including Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSUR), Development Safety Update Reports (DSUR), Risk Management Plans (RMP), Serious Adverse Events (SAE), and Adverse Events (AE)
• Proficient English to Spanish (Mexico) linguist with a focus on clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory document translation
• Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following criteria: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent); a recognized graduate qualification in another field along with a minimum of two years of full-time professional translation experience; or a minimum of five years of full-time professional translation experience
• A minimum of two years of hands-on translation experience specifically in life sciences (clinical trials and pharmacovigilance) and medical documentation
• Knowledge of CAT tools (XTM/Phrase)
• Experience with Track Changes in Microsoft Word
• Must reside in the United States, Mexico, or Puerto Rico
• Willingness to undertake an assessment as part of the onboarding and quality assurance processes
• Current English CV must accurately represent Life Sciences and Medical translation experience, years of relevant work experience, types of documents translated, CAT tools utilized, and contact details including email and phone number
• CAT tool license will be provided
