Licensed Trader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Process members' buy and sell orders for stocks, ETFs, and various investment products through the application and prepare trade tickets.

• Confirm that all necessary information is available to facilitate trade processing.

• Categorize and execute member orders in accordance with provided instructions.

• Deliver customer support via phone, email, and chat.

• Verify the identity of members prior to executing their instructions.

• Handle instructions regarding voluntary reorganizations.

• Update registered account beneficiaries as needed.

• Manage internal account transfers and securities transfers to and from outside institutions.

• Review and investigate buy/sell orders, providing feedback to members.

• Ensure accurate settlement and delivery, escalating any discrepancies as necessary.

• Keep precise daily trade records.

• Conduct daily reconciliations with the Custodian.

• Report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and the Ultimate Designated Person (UDP).

• Work in collaboration with Compliance and Operations to assist the client base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in customer service within the Banking or Investment sector.

• Prior experience supporting an app-based product is an advantage.

• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH).

• Completion of the 30-day training program as stipulated by CIRO while working full-time with a Dealer Member firm.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities dynamically.

• Strong experience in resolving customer issues.

• Must be bilingual in both English and French.

• Must reside in Canada.

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
