Licensed Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Analyze and review mortgage surveys to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.

• Confirm the accuracy and completeness of survey data, including boundaries and dimensions.

• Detect errors or inconsistencies and suggest corrective measures.

• Collaborate with field crews, drafters, and stakeholders to clarify information and address discrepancies.

• Compile final reports that summarize survey findings and conclusions.

• Offer technical support and guidance to drafters and departmental personnel.

• Stay updated with industry and legal standards relevant to land surveying and mortgage review.

• Work with other departments to enhance processes and achieve cost savings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Surveyor in Ohio.

• Bachelor's degree in land surveying, geomatics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.

• At least 2 years of experience specifically in mortgage survey review and analysis.

• Proficient in modern surveying tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GPS, Total Stations).

• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, boundary law, and construction layout.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
