Licensed Professional Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accept referrals and manage a client caseload of at least 18 hours per week.

• Provide counseling to clients or patients either individually or during family sessions.

• Make internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no progress within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies for addressing their challenges.

• Create and implement treatment plans grounded in clinical expertise and knowledge.

• Establish SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals with patients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours of intake and revise or update them every 4 weeks.

• Complete and keep up-to-date all client-related documentation, including diagnostic records, progress notes, treatment records, and reports.

• Draft progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health based on the information provided by the clients.

• Collaborate with staff on clinical evaluations and treatment plans within 2 days of initiating care.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when necessary.

• Stay informed on professional developments through literature, courses, seminars, and engagement with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• Current and valid LPC or LCSW license in Texas.

• Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in oncology.

• At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings (preferred).
