Licensed Professional Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Inspire hope and facilitate positive change in the lives of clients impacted by cancer.

• Accept referrals and maintain a minimum client load of 18 hours per week.

• Provide counseling to clients or patients either individually or in family sessions.

• Initiate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if minimal or no progress is observed within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies to effectively manage their challenges.

• Create and implement treatment plans grounded in clinical expertise and knowledge.

• Set SMART goals collaboratively with patients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours post-intake and revise them every 4 weeks as needed.

• Complete and maintain all client-related documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Generate progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and uphold necessary treatment records and reports.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health based on provided client information.

• Collaborate with staff on clinical evaluations or treatment strategies within 2 days of initiating care.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when necessary.

• Stay updated on counseling advancements through professional literature, training courses, seminars, and interactions with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• Current and active LPC or LCSW license in Texas.

• Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology (Preferred Qualifications).

• At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings (Preferred Qualifications).
