Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality mental health care remotely.

• Offer support to patients of all ages.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Conduct psychotherapy and thorough assessments.

• Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create treatment plans aimed at achieving their goals.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Engage in qualified supervision when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to meet their goals.

• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Availability for a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

• Commitment to completing 30 client care hours each week.

• Experience with patients diagnosed with substance use and addiction disorders.

• Background in managing chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Full-time experience in one-on-one psychotherapy, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.

• Current relevant licensure as an associate therapist/registered intern or professional, as required by the candidate's state.
