Licensed Physician – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical EHR vignettes accompanied by questions, suggested answers, and misleading “trap” answers related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Assess vignettes covering the cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.

• Score the quality of clinical reasoning, accuracy and completeness of vignettes, correctness and gradeability of answers, and quality of trap answers.

• Verify whether reasoning chains lead to answers based solely on the facts presented in the vignettes.

• Correct reasoning pathways and provide concise rationales.

• Operate within three independent blind reads followed by physician adjudication.

• Enhance AI tools utilized in clinical settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US-based, actively practicing physician (MD/DO).

• Hold a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Possess an active, unrestricted US medical license, confirmed by the issuing medical board.

• Have board certification or completed residency training.

• Recent direct patient care experience is preferred, ideally at the attending level.

• Extensive, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and the application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Prior experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam-question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Excellent written English skills (C1+).

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals holding non-clinical healthcare titles.

• Tasks must be completed and submitted by the specified deadlines, adhering to the established acceptance criteria.
