Licensed Physician, Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical EHR vignettes accompanied by questions, suggested answers, and distractor "trap" responses related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Assess vignettes covering cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.

• Score the quality of clinical reasoning, accuracy and completeness of vignettes, correctness and gradeability of answers, as well as the quality of trap responses.

• Confirm that reasoning leads to the answer based solely on the facts presented in the vignette.

• Correct reasoning pathways and compose brief rationales.

• Engage in three independent blind evaluations followed by physician adjudication.

• Enhance medical AI evaluation tools by incorporating real clinical complexities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US-based, actively practicing physician.

• Hold a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Possess an active, unrestricted US medical license, verified by the issuing medical board.

• Must have board certification or completed residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care is preferred, ideally at an attending level.

• Broad diagnostic and treatment experience across multiple systems in internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and the application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Proficient written English skills (C1+ level).

• Experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content review, exam-question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• This position is not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals holding non-clinical healthcare titles.

• Availability for approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.

• Tasks must be submitted by deadlines and fulfill specified acceptance criteria.
