Licensed Physician – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Assess clinical EHR vignettes alongside associated questions, suggested answers, and distractor options in the context of diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Evaluate the quality of clinical reasoning, the accuracy and completeness of vignettes, the correctness and gradeability of answers, and the quality of distractors.

• Determine if reasoning pathways lead to answers based solely on the facts presented in the vignettes.

• Revise reasoning trails and compose concise rationales.

• Operate within a structure of three independent blind reviews followed by physician adjudication.

• Fulfill project responsibilities within the established timeline and acceptance criteria.

• Dedicate approximately 10–20 hours each week during active project phases, based on personal availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO).

• Valid, unrestricted US medical license, confirmed at onboarding and re-verified monthly.

• Currently practicing as a physician.

• Board certified or completed residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care; attending-level preferred.

• Extensive, multi-system diagnostic and treatment expertise in internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine.

• Excellent clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and the application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Proficient written English (C1+ level).

• Prior experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam question review, or medical annotation/quality assurance is advantageous.

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals with non-clinical healthcare titles.
