Licensed Physician, Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Analyze clinical EHR vignettes along with accompanying questions, proposed responses, and distractor “trap” answers related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Evaluate vignettes covering cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.

• Assess the quality of clinical reasoning, accuracy and completeness of vignettes, correctness and gradeability of answers, and quality of trap answers.

• Ensure that reasoning chains derive answers solely from the facts presented in vignettes.

• Correct reasoning pathways and compose concise rationales.

• Engage in three independent blind evaluations followed by physician adjudication.

• Enhance AI tools through the evaluation of realistic clinical complexities.

⛳️ Requirements

• US-based, actively practicing physician with an MD or DO degree.

• Active, unrestricted US medical license, confirmed by the issuing medical board.

• Board certification or completion of residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care; attending-level experience is preferred.

• Extensive, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Previous experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam-question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Proficient written English (C1+ level).

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals with non-clinical healthcare titles.

• CV must be provided in English, indicating the level of English proficiency.

• Tasks must be completed by deadlines and adhere to specified acceptance criteria.
