Licensed Mental Health Professional – Emotional Support Animal Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual ESA evaluations with careful and unrushed focus.

• Utilize independent clinical judgment to issue letters when criteria are satisfied and respectfully decline when they are not met.

• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of assessments.

• Ensure letters are completed accurately and punctually.

• Write and prescribe emotional support animal letters for approved clients within two business days post-consultation.

• Treat each client with the utmost dignity and respect.

• Collaborate with the Pettable team and clients for follow-up support or documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid license as a mental health professional.

• At least one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Doctor of Medicine (MD), or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

• Proficient in delivering telehealth consultations.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Preferred, but not required, experience with prescribing emotional support animal letters and understanding associated regulations.

• Must be located within the United States.
