Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program

• Provide empathetic, high-quality mental health care

• Care for patients of all ages

• Conduct around 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients daily

• Utilize mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses to guide care

• Create treatment plans

• Perform thorough assessments

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their goals

• Utilize telehealth, video communication, and internal communication tools

• Fulfill additional state licensure requirements as Brave Health expands into new regions

• Complete a brief post-application questionnaire and collaborate with a senior recruiter if there is mutual compatibility

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

• Ongoing eligibility must not rely on temporary or employer-dependent visa status

• Dedicated work-from-home space to ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance

• Proficiency in English

• Spanish language skills preferred; proficiency in other languages is an advantage

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses

• Experience in treatment planning

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools

• Proven experience working collaboratively with clients to achieve their objectives

• Capability to perform comprehensive assessments

• Full/independent licensure in the relevant state
