Licensed Loan Officer Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist the mortgage loan officers at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in their daily operations to enhance loan production levels.

• Collaborate directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a pleasant customer experience and facilitate prompt loan closings.

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications and associated documentation, which includes phone and computer tasks, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and sending documents overnight.

• Assess mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers.

• Generate rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and provide them to borrowers.

• Review documents and comprehensive loan files, identify any deficiencies, and inform mortgage loan officers and/or processors.

• Clarify or amend information and acquire additional details via phone and email.

• Offer general clerical and phone assistance to loan officers and/or processors.

• Support various stages and aspects of lending and processing.

• Help manage pipelines that include conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans.

• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and confirm receipt.

• Monitor outstanding items on loan files and follow up with customers for necessary documentation.

• Coordinate with title companies and customers to arrange timely loan closings.


⛳️ Requirements

• NMLS License is required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.

• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 1 year of experience in a mortgage-related role, including customer interaction.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, who may only speak one of those languages, is preferred.

• Prior experience in sales support is preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Exceptional prioritization and time management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
