This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Interact with active insurance shoppers through inbound and outbound calls, live chat, SMS, and other channels in a remote call center setting.
• Utilize insurance knowledge to identify customer needs, recognize coverage gaps, and suggest customized Allstate products as well as offerings from Allstate family companies.
• Transform warm leads into clients using a consultative sales approach; cold calling is not required.
• Foster sales growth while ensuring an outstanding customer-first experience.
• Manage inbound and outbound customer calls as the primary method of customer engagement.
• Maintain availability during designated work hours to fulfill call volume and service requirements.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions and finalize transactions during live customer interactions.
• Adhere to assigned schedules, including evenings and weekends, aligned with business coverage needs.
• Meet defined productivity, quality, and performance benchmarks.
• Navigate multiple computer systems concurrently while actively engaging customers.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with a focus on sales.
• Preferred: Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Producer license in the state of residence.
• If unlicensed, willingness to obtain a Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Producer license with Allstate's assistance.
• Must acquire and maintain all necessary resident and non-resident Producer licenses required to sell insurance products in specified states.
• Required to relinquish all non-Allstate insurance carrier appointments and may not maintain active appointments with other carriers while employed in this capacity.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are necessary.
• Must have a dedicated, private, and distraction-free workspace at home.
• Must be comfortable working during evenings and weekends.
• Open to receiving feedback and performance coaching.
• Strong skills in communication, critical thinking, and multitasking are essential.
• Must be competitive, highly self-motivated, and driven by performance rewards.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability.
• Capability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously is required.
• Position is available only within the US; not available to residents of Puerto Rico, California, New York, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington state.
• Candidates living in areas where local minimum wage exceeds the base pay are not eligible.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo a background investigation.
• Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position.
• Average total compensation ranges from $52,730 to $76,480 per year, which includes base salary and uncapped performance-based incentives.
• Eligible licensed external candidates may qualify for a bonus.
