Licensed Independent Social Worker – LISW-S

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver essential clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians who are working towards achieving full licensure.

• Assist associates in providing telehealth services to the Medicaid community.

• Supervise based on personal professional judgment as well as the requirements set by the licensing board.

• Mentor the upcoming generation of clinicians throughout their licensure journey.

• Aid associates in honing their clinical skills.

• Offer constructive feedback to foster the development of clinicians.

• Assist with documentation and ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a valid LISW-S license in good standing in Ohio.

• Obtain board approval to provide clinical supervision.

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work.

• Demonstrate a successful history of guiding associates to full licensure.

• Maintain malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate).

• Have familiarity with clinical documentation and treatment planning in accordance with Medicaid guidelines.

• Experience with EHR systems and various digital tools is essential.

• Have a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup.

• Provide your own computer and have reliable internet for confidential virtual sessions.

• Be fluent in English.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Possess extensive clinical experience and sound diagnostic judgment.

• Exhibit skill in delivering developmental feedback.

• Be comfortable assisting associates with Medicaid documentation and compliance.
