Licensed Collaborating Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a collaborating physician for PMHNPs licensed in Tennessee, adhering to state regulations.

• Partner with the Director of Psychiatry on operational policies, clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and chart review procedures.

• Perform monthly chart reviews and patient chart audits for each collaborating PMHNP.

• Conduct a minimum of two patient chart audits per semester for each collaborating PMHNP, or as mandated by state regulations.

• Assess documentation, treatment plans, prescribing practices, and clinical interventions.

• Engage in monthly one-hour collaboration meetings and occasionally lead these sessions.

• Organize two in-person supervision meetings each year with the Tennessee PMHNP team.

• Meet state-specific collaborating physician criteria.

• Deliver 2–4 hours of direct psychiatric clinical care weekly across Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat college students via telepsychiatry.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

• Foster a clinical culture that emphasizes student mental health outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified MD or DO Psychiatrist.

• Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee.

• Availability for 2–4 hours of clinical work each week.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in states where Mantra has contracted psychiatrist services, starting with Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

• Demonstrated empathetic and intuitive listening skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Comfort working independently in a telemedicine setting.

• A genuine passion for enhancing access to mental health care for college students.

• An entrepreneurial mindset or prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.
