This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver therapy and support to students through the TimelyCare platform.

• Assess client needs, collaborate on treatment objectives, and formulate treatment plans.

• Direct students to other suitable TimelyCare services, including Medical and Psychiatry.

• Offer therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning mainly for a young adult demographic.

• Document concurrently and submit HIPAA-compliant records using TimelyCare's electronic health system.

• Create and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session.

• Communicate effectively across teams and departments to ensure continuity of care.

• Comply with documentation quality standards and uphold the code of ethics.

• Set and develop treatment objectives with students/clients and document them accordingly.

• Employ active listening and evidence-based approaches to build rapport, set boundaries, and advance care.

• Submit timely documentation in the TimelyCare EHR/platform.

• Adjust to evolving population needs.

• Maintain composure during potentially high-stress situations.

• Respond with empathy and professionalism, meeting clients where they are.

• Exemplify respectful behavior with students, colleagues, and support staff.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a clinical license in New Mexico.

• Required: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Associate therapists are not eligible for this position at this time.

• Preferred: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP).

• Active State License in NM; additional state licenses are advantageous.

• Strong skills in clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening.

• Experience in crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning.

• Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, and/or experience in community mental health, crisis triage, or college counseling settings.

• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, and ACT.

• Valid U.S. work authorization is mandatory.

• Sponsorship is not available.
