Licensed Clinical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver therapy and therapeutic counseling services to students utilizing the TimelyCare virtual care platform.

• Assess client needs, collaborate on therapy objectives, and create treatment plans.

• Direct students to other relevant TimelyCare services when needed, such as Medical and Psychiatry.

• Document in real-time using TimelyCare’s electronic health record system.

• Submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session.

• Engage in cross-departmental communication to ensure continuity of care.

• Comply with documentation quality standards and adhere to the code of ethics.

• Set treatment objectives, establish boundaries, build rapport, and monitor student/client progress.

• Interact with clients empathetically and professionally, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a clinical license in New Mexico.

• Required: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Associate therapists are not eligible for this position at this time.

• Preferred: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP).

• Active State License in NM; additional state licenses are an advantage.

• Strong skills in clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening.

• Experience in crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning.

• Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, community mental health, crisis triage, or college counseling.

• Valid U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.

• Proficiency in using evidence-based modalities such as SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, and ACT.

• Capability to submit HIPAA-compliant documentation in an electronic health record.
