Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Night Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct brief, evidence-informed virtual individual and/or group counseling sessions for patients experiencing low to moderate acuity acute mental health issues.

• Create, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Utilize the DSM for symptom identification, diagnosis, and the development of therapeutic or treatment plans.

• Apply clinical judgment within the scope of licensure while supporting the behavioral health service line.

• Communicate effectively through both written and oral channels, including case formulation and presentations.

• Clarify TRICARE requirements and benefits to assigned patients.

• Maintain convenience files and document outpatient and inpatient medical records.

• Generate case summaries and correspondence utilizing the approved electronic medical record system.

• Recommend hospitalization when necessary or assess service members' fitness for duty.

• Evaluate and complete Active Duty Profiles, MEB evaluations, MSEs, command consultations, and other administrative processes for the Air Force, Army, and Navy.

• Participate in staff meetings for case discussions, continuing education, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.

• Update patient charts/information within 72 business hours following appointments; ensure high-visibility or higher-acuity patient documentation is updated by close of business.

• Adhere to SOP duty limitations and conduct weapons access assessments.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree (or higher) in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Social Worker utilizing virtual platforms to conduct bio-psychosocial evaluations; develop behavioral health treatment plans; administer Active Duty Profiles; perform Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) evaluations; make fitness for duty determinations; and provide psychotherapy.

• Candidates with less than two years of experience on virtual platforms may also be considered.

• Experience as a Clinical Social Worker on virtual platforms within the MHS is preferred; virtual health experience outside the MHS is acceptable.

• Possession of a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Clinical Social Work independently, issued by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.

• Must meet credentialing requirements and secure and maintain appropriate clinical privileges.

• Ability to obtain and sustain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross.

• Additional certification beyond Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
