Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health’s telehealth platform.

• Provide mental health treatment to individuals of all ages.

• Utilize technology, including telehealth software and video conferencing, throughout daily operations.

• Collaborate with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Perform thorough assessments and create tailored treatment plans.

• Offer care to patients dealing with mental health issues and/or substance use disorders.

• Maintain a workload of 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients each day.

• Facilitate access to care as Brave Health ventures into new regions.

• Acquire additional state licenses as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship.

• A designated private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Competence in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to reach their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Currently possess full/independent licensure in at least one state.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as necessary.

• Ability to manage 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Experience working with patients with severe chronic mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
