Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Offer one-on-one psychotherapy to patients of all ages, including adolescents aged 13–17.

• Assess and treat mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create treatment plans and perform thorough evaluations.

• Collaborate with clients to reach their treatment objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools during the workday.

• Complete around 30 patient-facing hours weekly, typically seeing 6–8 patients each day.

• Conduct clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions.

• Acquire additional state licenses as required as Brave Health grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Familiarity with diagnosing mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort in using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Current independent clinical licensure; LCSW or another recognized clinical credential.

• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses as needed.

• Recent experience in one-on-one psychotherapy, particularly with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.

• Willingness to provide therapy to adolescents aged 13–17.

• Capability to complete approximately 30 patient-facing hours weekly, typically seeing 6–8 patients daily.

• Ability to conduct clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions.

• Commitment to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule.
