Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Accept client referrals and maintain a workload of no less than 18 hours per week.

• Provide individual counseling or facilitate family therapy sessions.

• Initiate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no progress within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in cultivating skills or strategies to address their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans grounded in clinical expertise and knowledge.

• Set SMART goals collaboratively with patients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours post-intake and revise them every 4 weeks as needed.

• Complete and manage all client-related documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Generate progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and uphold necessary treatment records and reports.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental health based on their information.

• Work in partnership with staff on clinical evaluations and treatment strategies within 2 days of commencing care.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists as appropriate.

• Stay informed about advancements in counseling through professional literature, courses, seminars, and networking with social service organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Virginia is mandatory.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in oncology.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings.
