Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized counseling to clients or patients, including family sessions, to aid in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life changes, or facilitating personal growth.

• Accept referrals and manage an active client caseload.

• Initiate internal referrals to the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) if there is little to no progress noted within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing effective skills or strategies for addressing their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans with SMART goals; complete these plans within 72 hours post-intake and revise them every 4 weeks.

• Accurately complete and maintain all client documentation, including diagnostic records, progress notes, treatment records, and reports.

• Finalize progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental states based on provided client information.

• Work collaboratively with staff on clinical evaluations and treatment plans within 2 days of initiating care.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists as needed.

• Stay updated on professional knowledge through literature, courses, seminars, and interactions with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Virginia is mandatory.

• Cross-licensure in Texas is required before commencing this role.

• Maintain a minimum client load of 18 hours per week.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings.
