Licensed Child/Adolescent Mental Health Therapist – Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver services through Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare’s virtual school-based program.

• Provide mental health services to students during school hours using secure telehealth.

• Conduct interventions, evaluations/assessments, and offer individual, group, and family counseling.

• Build and maintain a network for community referrals.

• Offer education and training to individuals, groups, and agencies.

• Be available for 24-hour on-call duty once during each staff rotation as necessary.

• Uphold regulatory, contractual, documentation, data collection, and reporting standards.

• Collaborate and coordinate care across Prairie Ridge services, including IHH and other offerings.

• Utilize documentation and reporting systems such as Accreditation Now, MyOutcomes, and the Electronic Health Record.

• Participate in staff consultation, supervision, and training sessions.

• Exhibit proficiency in agency best-practice clinical methodologies through supervision and direct observation.

• Comply with CARF policies and procedures.

• Meet the minimum productivity hours established by agency standards.

• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a master’s degree in behavioral healthcare.

• A full license as an LMFT, LMHC, LMSW, LISW, or psychologist.

• Familiarity with Prairie Ridge’s mission and the communities it serves.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Competence in record keeping.

• Adequate technology skills to utilize an electronic health record.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity.

• Capability to meet regulatory, contractual, documentation, and reporting standards.

• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds.

• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Experienced clinician.
