Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth therapy services to the Medicaid population.

• Manage an independent caseload while practicing under your own license.

• Utilize independent clinical judgment along with your treatment approach.

• Determine which referrals to accept and cultivate an appropriate caseload.

• Conduct confidential virtual sessions from a home office that complies with HIPAA regulations.

• Oversee documentation requirements and ensure Medicaid compliance.

• Develop treatment plans and make diagnostic assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid LCSW-C license in good standing in Maryland.

• A Master's degree in Social Work.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct therapy or assessment experience.

• Personal malpractice insurance coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate).

• Familiarity with EHR systems and various digital tools.

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office environment.

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet connection.

• Proficiency in English.

• Confident in making diagnostic judgments across a variety of cases.

• Ability to create effective treatment plans.

• Experience in independently managing a caseload, including necessary documentation and Medicaid compliance.

• Spanish language proficiency is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.

• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Must be currently residing in Maryland.

• Must hold an independent license.
