This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Educate consumers about health insurance options available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
• Evaluate the coverage needs of individuals and families and clarify the plan options that are available.
• Describe the features of plans, including premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, and prescription coverage.
• Assist consumers in navigating the ACA Marketplace application and enrollment process.
• Deliver professional and consultative customer service.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer information, application details, and enrollment records within company systems.
• Follow up with both prospective and enrolled consumers.
• Achieve sales, conversion, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience targets.
• Adhere to compliance standards set by CMS, Marketplace, carriers, licensing, and company policies.
• Maintain all necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and Marketplace credentials.
• Engage in training, coaching, performance development, and team meetings.
• Utilize multiple computer systems and applications while assisting customers.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Must possess an active Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
• Hold an active National Producer Number (NPN).
• Newly licensed insurance agents are encouraged to apply; prior ACA sales experience is not necessary.
• Previous experience in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call center, or customer service is preferred.
• Capable of completing and maintaining all required ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training before conducting Marketplace enrollments.
• Able to meet the contracting and appointment requirements of applicable carriers.
• Strong verbal communication, listening, and customer service abilities are essential.
• Comfortable operating in a goal-oriented and performance-driven sales environment.
• Must be coachable, dependable, professional, and motivated to grow within the insurance field.
• Proficient in computer navigation with the ability to learn and work across multiple systems.
• Ability to work independently while also being a contributing member of a remote team.
• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable professional remote workspace.
• Capability to maintain required licensing, certifications, and continuing education obligations.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including evenings or weekends, particularly during peak Open Enrollment periods.
