This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Examine, assess, and resolve Auto Liability and General Liability claims from initiation to final settlement.
• Manage cases involving bodily injury, premises liability, slip and fall incidents, property damage, and product liability risks.
• Execute liability investigations and evaluate coverage, damages, and claim exposure.
• Collect and assess witness statements, accident reports, photographs, medical documentation, contracts, and other relevant materials.
• Set and uphold suitable reserves based on claim development and exposure assessments.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, legal representatives, and authorized parties.
• Oversee attorney-represented and litigated claims throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with defense attorneys, experts, and vendors as necessary.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities when appropriate.
• Maintain prompt diary management and accurate claim documentation.
• Create claim reports, reserve recommendations, and communications for clients.
• Engage in claim reviews, client meetings, and file review presentations as required.
• Ensure adherence to Corporate Claim Standards and specific client handling requirements.
• Independently manage a varied liability claim portfolio across multiple jurisdictions and industries.
• Offer client-facing communication, customer service, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.
• Active adjuster license in your home state is required; multi-state licensing is preferred.
• Experience managing a multi-client desk and navigating diverse client expectations.
• A minimum of 5 years of multi-line claims experience is required, including Auto, Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Bodily Injury.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to manage various claim types and adapt quickly throughout the workday.
• Ability to analyze coverage and convey claim decisions clearly and professionally.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting with a strong sense of accountability.
• Reliable and predictable attendance during business hours.
• Litigation experience is preferred.
• Experience with Third Party Administrators (TPA) is preferred.
• A New York adjuster license is a plus.
• Experience in performing coverage evaluations and coverage position analysis.
• Comfort in reviewing and applying concepts related to contractual risk transfer, indemnification, and additional insureds.
• Experience in litigation management.
• Familiarity with working in a TPA environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a bonus.
