Lending Associate – AU Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Review broker appointment notes, lending strategies, and handover information

• Prepare lending submission notes, application inputs, and supporting documentation

• Accurately enter and maintain client, financial, and loan information in CRM and lending platforms

• Provide support for servicing inputs, product comparisons, pricing, and valuation research

• Ensure loan files are complete, precise, logical, and ready for submission

• Review bank statements, income documents, liabilities, and other financial information

• Identify lending risks or missing information and escalate issues to brokers

• Order and assess credit reports while flagging relevant concerns

• Follow up with clients for any outstanding or updated documentation

• Package and submit loan applications

• Monitor applications throughout assessment, approval, documentation, and settlement

• Respond to requests and conditions from lenders

• Coordinate with clients, brokers, lenders, Business Development Managers, and stakeholders

• Identify potential delays or risks and recommend or escalate next steps

• Provide proactive updates to clients and communicate requirements, next steps, and timelines

• Address client queries within scope and refer lending advice or credit decisions to brokers

• Maintain detailed CRM notes, tasks, statuses, timelines, and lender milestones

• Ensure active files have a clear next action and follow-up

• Maintain compliant loan files and securely handle confidential client information

• Participate in training, team meetings, file reviews, and process improvement initiatives

• Identify bottlenecks and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience

• Support team members during peak periods

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in lending support, mortgage broking, banking, credit, financial services, or a similar administrative role

• Strong capability to review financial documents, including bank statements, income information, liabilities, and supporting lending documentation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and stakeholders

• High attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial information, applications, and documentation

• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple files and priorities simultaneously

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset; ability to identify issues before delays arise

• Comfort in working with numbers, financial information, and lending-related documentation

• Capability to learn and apply lender policies, credit requirements, compliance standards, and internal procedures

• Ability to work independently and recognize when issues need escalation

• Professionalism, confidentiality, accountability, and integrity

• Preferred: previous Australian mortgage, lending, or mortgage broking experience

• Preferred: experience supporting loan applications from preparation through settlement

• Preferred: familiarity with credit reports and lending concerns or documentation gaps

• Preferred: experience with mortgage, CRM, document collection, or loan application systems

• Preferred: working knowledge of Australian lender policies and credit requirements

• Familiarity with CRM and client management systems, loan application and lender submission platforms, document collection and file management systems, Google Workspace or similar productivity tools, and credit reporting and lending research platforms
