Legionella Risk Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments at various client locations.

• Evaluate hot and cold water systems along with their related infrastructure.

• Recognize and assess Legionella risks.

• Create comprehensive technical reports.

• Suggest remedial actions and control measures.

• Share findings with clients and stakeholders.

• Adhere to ACoP L8, HSG274 Part 2, and BS 8580-1 standards.

• Uphold high standards within the UKAS-accredited quality framework.

• Operate independently in the field across commercial, healthcare, residential, and public-sector sites.

• Occasionally travel to other locations within the UK.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.

• In-depth knowledge of water systems and Legionella control protocols.

• Familiarity with ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580-1 guidelines.

• Capability to generate clear and precise technical reports.

• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

• Proficiency in using digital reporting systems.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• BOHS, City & Guilds, WMSoc, or an equivalent qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment (desirable).

• Background in water hygiene, water treatment, engineering, or building services (desirable).

• Experience in a UKAS-accredited environment (desirable).
