Legal Translator and Editor, English to Turkish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide legal translation services from English to Turkish.

• Edit translations from English to Turkish in the legal field.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of legal terminology in both English and Turkish.

• Produce high-quality and precise work while working remotely.

• Accept assignments on-demand as required, on an ongoing basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in legal translation and/or editing.

• Exceptional writing skills in both Turkish and English at a native level.

• Proven understanding of U.S. legal, judicial, and technical terminology in English and Turkish.

• Bachelor’s degree in foreign languages, linguistics, translation, or a related field.

• Familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools; experience with Trados is preferred.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to adhere to deadlines.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must be prepared to undergo security clearance processing, including fingerprinting, if selected.

• Generally available during weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

• Willing to accept approximately 10 to 15 hours of on-demand assignments per week, as needed.
