Legal Subject Matter Expert – Germany, Switzerland

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of corporate, employment, administrative, and regulatory issues.

• Investigate relevant statutes, case law, regulations, administrative rulings, and legal guidance.

• Examine contracts, corporate documents, employment-related materials, and regulatory submissions.

• Annotate and verify German-language legal datasets.

• Assess AI-generated legal reasoning for both jurisdictional and linguistic precision.

• Validate citations, legal terminology, and interpretations of statutes.

• Prepare or assess legal summaries, memoranda, contractual clauses, and legal opinions.

• Assist in the design of AI prompts and the evaluation of models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified Rechtsanwalt, Swiss-qualified lawyer, JD/LL.M. equivalent graduate, Senior Legal Researcher, or seasoned Paralegal.

• At least 3+ years of pertinent legal experience.

• In-depth knowledge of German and/or Swiss corporate, labor, administrative, or regulatory law.

• Professional fluency in German is essential.

• Strong capabilities in legal drafting and research.

• Proficiency in English is preferred.

• Familiarity with German-language legal databases and research tools.

• Experience with Generative AI is advantageous.
