This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Offer legal insights regarding the EU AI Act, GDPR, data governance, privacy, and international regulatory requirements.
β’ Assess responsibilities for controllers, processors, AI providers, deployers, and other entities under regulation.
β’ Examine privacy notices, data-processing agreements, compliance evaluations, and regulatory documentation.
β’ Investigate EU legislation, materials from the European Commission, guidance from the EDPB, and rulings from the CJEU.
β’ Validate AI datasets through the lens of regulatory interpretation and compliance scenarios.
β’ Detect legal inaccuracies, hallucinations, and jurisdiction-specific mistakes in AI-generated outputs.
β’ Create structured legal reasoning and evaluation criteria.
β’ Assist in prompt engineering for privacy, regulatory compliance, and AI governance applications.
β’ Licensed Attorney, JD/LL.M. graduate, Senior Legal Researcher, Privacy Professional, or seasoned Paralegal.
β’ At least 3+ years of relevant legal or regulatory experience.
β’ Profound knowledge of GDPR, EU digital regulations, and cross-border data protection.
β’ Familiarity with the EU AI Act is highly preferred.
β’ Proficient in English.
β’ Proficiency in additional EU languages is an advantage.
β’ Strong skills in statutory analysis, regulatory research, citation verification, and drafting.
β’ CIPP/E or a similar privacy certification is advantageous.
β’ Knowledge of AI governance and responsible Generative AI practices is greatly preferred.
β’ Flexible working hours, tailored to the applicant's availability.
