Legal Pricing Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire a deep understanding of the principles and complexities of pricing within a law firm, including related operations and analysis.

• Generate and assess reports to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.

• Proactively detect and address issues to uphold the integrity of financial system data.

• Execute, oversee, and support client pricing in accordance with contractual obligations and internal policies.

• Guarantee precise pricing configurations, necessary approvals, and effective billing processes.

• Respond to pricing-related questions from various departments, attorneys, senior management, and external clients.

• Deliver financial analysis for legal practice groups and additional facets of the firm's operations.

• Create both ad hoc and standard monthly and quarterly management reports and presentations.

• Expand knowledge and responsibilities progressively in all areas of the firm’s financial management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required.

• Previous work experience in problem-solving, critical thinking, analysis (including financial), reporting, and detail-oriented tasks is preferred.

• Strong ability and motivation to identify and analyze problems and work towards effective solutions.

• Capacity for quick learning and effective multitasking while remaining organized and maintaining high work quality.

• Ability and eagerness to independently oversee a task, function, or project from start to finish.

• Proactive in identifying knowledge gaps and a willingness to ask questions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work output.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.

• Knowledge of SQL and VBA, or a demonstrated ability to learn and utilize programming languages is advantageous.

• Must be able to travel to the Minneapolis office for training and occasionally for team meetings.
