This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Assist with employment law and compliance inquiries across various EU jurisdictions.
• Draft and assess standard employment contracts, offer letters, and mutual separation agreements.
• Offer first-line support for routine employment issues and escalate complex or high-risk matters.
• Research employment legislation and convert requirements into applicable internal guidance.
• Prepare standard documentation for disciplinary processes.
• Communicate with employees and clients regarding sensitive legal and compliance inquiries.
• Coordinate miscellaneous legal matters with external counsel.
• Serve as the designated Responsible Person for the Swiss entity in accordance with Swiss labour-leasing law.
• Ensure adherence to Swiss labour-leasing legislation, employment law, and staffing industry GAV requirements.
• Maintain documentation for SECO and cantonal audits and inspections.
• Act as the primary liaison for SECO and cantonal authorities.
• Approximately 3 years of practical legal experience, such as a law degree with a focus on employment law, a paralegal or junior legal position, in-house legal support, or an employment law internship.
• Full legal qualification or Swiss bar admission is not necessary.
• Experience in contract drafting, routine employment terms or policy queries, and compliance documentation.
• Capability to engage directly with employees and clients on sensitive legal issues.
• Strong legal research abilities and the competence to translate legislation into practical guidance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with process-oriented, repetitive compliance tasks.
• Ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Right to work and physical presence in Switzerland (Swiss/EU citizenship, Permit B or C).
• Proficiency in German or French is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with employment law in other EU jurisdictions is a plus.
• Experience in a legal-ops or HR-tech setting is advantageous.
