This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Evaluate legal data, performance metrics, litigation reserves, management reports, and portfolio details, with a strong emphasis on Excel usage.
• Daily analysis and processing of legal data sets and information.
• Integrate information from various portfolios and legal matters.
• Generate monthly reports, management updates, and executive materials for clients.
• Prepare and oversee litigation reserve reports.
• Create and monitor legal controls, metrics, and KPIs.
• Perform critical data analysis to identify inconsistencies, variations, risks, trends, and areas needing attention.
• Organize, validate, and cross-check information from legal systems.
• Track portfolio metrics, including case volume, procedural stages, amounts involved, litigation reserves, decisions, settlements, and other KPIs.
• Assist in the creation of executive presentations, dashboards, and management materials.
• Collaborate with attorneys responsible for the portfolios to gather, verify, and consolidate information.
• Aid in the development of strategic analyses and results presentations for clients.
• Convert legal data into management information that facilitates decision-making.
• A law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Professional experience in managing and analyzing legal information.
• Familiarity with dashboards and data analysis tools.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including expertise in VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional and dynamic formulas, data cross-referencing, filtering, and data processing.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and tools for developing presentations.
• Experience with medium- and large-scale databases.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify inconsistencies and critically evaluate information.
• Capability to interpret numerical data and convert it into management information.
• Excellent writing skills and proficiency in preparing executive reports.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to information quality.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and monthly deliverables.
• Preferred: experience in Legal Operations or Legal Operations/Controladoria Jurídica.
• Preferred: background in mid-sized or large law firms or in-house legal departments.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset.
• Well-organized and attentive to established criteria.
• High sense of responsibility regarding information quality.
• Proactive in recognizing inconsistencies and opportunities for enhancement.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to critically evaluate and interpret data.
